Aurelia Finch

Aurelia recently completed her MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies, having done primary research on youth identity in Amman, and worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. She first visited Jordan in 2020 and studied Arabic at Ali Baba International Centre and Qasid. Both programmes helped advance her spoken and classical Arabic, leaving me to feel confident enough to write my undergraduate dissertation on the Ammani Dialect. Currently. She is the director of the UK-MENA Network and is passionate about connecting university students and young professionals in the UK to the MENA region.
