The UK-MENA Network was pleased to lead a delegation to the Sultanate of Oman, in partnership with the Oxford Diplomacy Society and with the generous support of The British Omani Society.

The program was designed to strengthen British–Omani dialogue, particularly among students and early-career professionals, and to support meaningful engagement with Oman’s diplomatic, educational, and institutional landscape. Throughout the week, delegates participated in a structured programme of meetings and visits that spanned diplomacy, government, education, and culture.

Beyond Muscat, the programme incorporated visits to Mutrah and Nizwa, the Oman Across the Ages Museum, Jabal Akhdar, and Wadi Shab. These elements were an important part of grounding formal dialogue in a historical and geographical context.

The UK-MENA Network is grateful to our partners at the Oxford Diplomacy Society and to the British Omani Society for their generous funding. We also thank our excellent delegation of UK-MENA Network members, whose engagement and professionalism were central to the success of the visit.

We look forward to continuing this dialogue and to furthering British-Omani relations, especially among the younger generation.
